Sally O'Connor: I first went to the Bury in 1979 and last went in 200? I can't remember exactly the last date of my visit. I have so many wonderful memories of people, the holidays for people with disabilities and the fun. I don't think I have never laughed so much, felt at peace so much. learned so much as I did with my Bury numerous visits. My MS has caught up with me a bit and I cannot stand, need lots of assistance but I have had MS for 36yrs so I am one of the lucky ones. When you speak of Colin Crowe in Exeter,

Sally O'Connor: do you mean Colin who had MS and lived at the Bury for a long time. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who remembers me at sallyoconnor@tiscali.co.uk. Love to all and especially Ian and Joy for keeping this going

Ian: Yes Sally, the very same Colin Crowe, and still very much the same & chatting up the ladies.

Tony Kaye: Ahem! Hello Colin, Tony Kaye here from Chester. We met at the Bury when you lived in Cheshire I seem to remember. Regards to you.

IAN: Hi Tony. Unfortuatly Colin is quadrapligic so cant access the web but will pass your message next time we are in touch.

Sue Dutton: From Sue Dutton when is the next get together at Willington?

Sue Dutton: Just getting used to this Ian - I am off to Oz soon first journey there! To see second grand-daughter named India! When is next get together at Willington GC would love to meet up for a chat if possible - thanks for the link Sue

IAN: Hi Sue & all. No date yet - will be early New Year - will give plenty of notice.

IAN: SORRY TO SAY THAT ALAN CLARK PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT. HE WAS WELL LOVED AND WILL BE MISSED.

Rosanna Fox: Ah! Excited to see this site has been made. I came to the summer festival as I was growing up, (ever come to the beauty salon?) I miss it so much! We made a Facebook group incase anyone has it. If anyone remembers me and wants to get in touch my email's rosannafox@hotmail.com x

sue dutton sue@seedsofpromise.co.uk: hello everyone remember the yoga shop at the Bury and all the goodies you bought for your friends I loved seeing you all there and enjoyed the Bury so much I now overlook it from my home across the road. The walk down the garden first thing in the morning to collect a few flowers for the reception area will always be remembered - the wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen, Harry talking to the mistle thrushes and watching out for wasps nests and hornets, the wildlife down by the lake and the peacefulness

Ian: Hi, Harry has had his quad heart bypass and now at home doing well.

Phillipa: I visited the Bury several times, twice at New Year. I miss the New Year retreat. It was such fun with the dancing and singing and meditation and yoga - fun and spiritual uplifting. To any who remember me, hello, and blessings for 2010.

Ian: :

Ian: AS recently reported, Alan Clark passed away 8th Dec, he will be missed. His funeral was well attended although many friends could not attend as they had classes at the same time.

Ian: Alan's widow (Margaret) and family, have asked me to express their thanks to you all. They were overwhelmed by the number of cards, messages, and support at the funeral. It meant a great deal to them to know he was held in such esteem.

Judith Mooney: Vry unlikely that I shall make it - love and hugs to all and I hope all goes very well with everyone.

Zuzanna Vee Teperman: Dear All, I would like to say how happy I am that Joy and Ian are keeping the YFHF energy alive. Greetings to all on March 10. Wish I could be there, but I am at Ickwell Bury often in spirit. Prehaps some photos could be taken at the upcoming meeting and posted on Facebook? Would be lovely to see. Maybe more far flung lovers of the Bury would share photos of the 'old' days. Anyway, happy times past and present. Love to you all, Namaste, z

Ian & Joy: Hi Zuzanna - et all. We will take photos but put them on this website. For information to all - Facebook was about to get out of hand for us, so we restrict it to family now. HOWEVER - we always respond to requests and say we do love to chat to friends on the phone or on e-mail. Tel: 01767 222154 0e E-mail: ianframe@tgis.co.uk. Love 'n hugs to all, hope to see you at the Willington Reunion or at the Llandudno reunion.

Sue Dutton: Just couldnt make the meeting at WGC on 10 March as another get together clashed. At the moment I am having some chemotheraphy for breast cancer which started Oct 2009 - but doing well and can get about - there must be many friends out there with a similar problem but positive energy does help! Kind regards to all who read this

Sue Dutton: message from sue sent x

Michael Worcester: I visited the the Bury at New Year (Dec 02/Jan 03) and I noticed that a Phillipa had made some comments which mirror my own, she said, "It was such fun with the dancing and singing and meditation and yoga - fun and spiritual uplifting. To any who remember me, hello, and blessings for 2010". The comments I totally endorse, and if she is the one with brown curls, then I thank her for her greeting and wish her love and light with many rainbows.

Martin Straus: I was so delighted to discover both this website and also the excellent new site whish has arisen from the ashes. I wish I had known earlier of the open day on the 16th March, but would love top tyry to come along to the next one. The YFH Foundation was a really bright light in a very gloomy tiime of my life, and I miss the opportunity of dropping in at 7 on a Sunday morning for some superb yoga and joining you for breakfast afterwards. And of course the unique medidatitation before lunch!

: Nancy & Gregory Ford-Kohne- long chat today with Gemma Doyle who lives in the washington DC area as do we. My did we remember, Gemma got in touch with us 20+ years ago via Howard. The memories of friends and teaching and the gardens, lake, walks, teas at the garden center all so clear and lovely. Maybe we will see some of the old Ickwelliana this year. 70 { yee gads } in a few months.
