We are sorry to report the loss, on Boxing Day, of  

Colin Crow

a remarkable and well known

member of staff at the Bury

for many years. He was our

“cadger”.

Using his head probe to

operate the phone and PC

to persuade companies to

donate anything from light

bulbs to mattresses, and everything you can imagine in between!

The world is a better place for him having been here and  we are better for having known him. He will be missed.

BIGGER is (sometimes) better.

Many people now have “Wide Screen” PC’s and I seem to be getting wider as well!  So, I thought it is time this website moved in that direction as things are getting a bit cluttered.  

Several people say they like the bigger than usual text, so that will be maintained.  Please bear with us as it gets rolled out over the rest of the site
